The Volume Experience Method, or VEM, is a practical approach to building career confidence through repeated action. Instead of waiting for the perfect CV, perfect job or perfect confidence, young people send more applications, track feedback, practise interviews and learn from the data.
Because each rejection can show a young person what to improve: CV wording, interview answers, timing, job fit, confidence or follow-up. The No is not the identity. It is training data.
The VEM starter target is 10 real applications a week. The point is not spam. The point is enough volume to create practice, feedback and options.
No. The VEM Career Confidence Puzzle Book is a career workbook disguised as puzzles. It covers applications, CV vocabulary, professional communication, interview skills, worker rights, apprenticeships, growth mindset and rejection resilience.
Reassure first, then plan. Contact the school, college, sixth form, apprenticeship provider or careers adviser. Check whether the grade really blocks the route, then explore resits, remarks, alternative courses, T Levels, apprenticeships or Functional Skills where relevant.
